SADO/MAACS - How to Challenge Court-Ordered Financial Obligations for Incarcerated Individuals

Time: February 13, 2019 - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Webinar

About the Presentation

There is a post-conviction motion that helps enhance client relationships, can improve the conditions of confinement, is minimal risk to you and your client, and is vastly under-utilized. Learn how to effectively file a Motion to Rescind Order to Remit Prisoner Funds. Get examples of the documents that will help make your case, see the order format that is MDOC-approved, and hear positive client reactions, even when the result is a denial. Now is the best possible time to consider this issue with court costs, fees, and funding on the forefront of conversations. Tune in. Learn a lot in 30 minutes.
