MCCD - Working Effectively with Justice-Impacted LGBTQ+ People

Time: March 14-15, 2019
Location: Ann Arbor, MI

On March 14-15, the Michigan Council on Crime and Delinquency (MCCD), in partnership with the NASW, will be hosting a Working Effectively with Justice-Impacted LGBTQ+ People training for social workers, psychologists, case managers, mental health providers, and juvenile/criminal justice professionals.

**This training is from 9am-4pm at MCCD (1679 Broadway St., Ann Arbor, MI, 48105). This course is approved for 12 social work CEUs. Lunch will be provided.**

This is an in-depth training for practitioners who want to learn how to work more effectively with LGBTQ+ people who have been affected by the juvenile and/or criminal justice systems. We will explore barriers and challenges, clinical implications, hear directly from impacted people, and provide attendees with an opportunity to learn from, and problem-solve with, local experts.

Please contact Tara McManus at tmcmanus@miccd.org or 857-231-6180 with any questions or concerns.
