SADO/MAACS - Dispositions in Juvenile Delinquencies

The Youth Defense Project at the State Appellate Defender Office and Michigan Appellate Assigned Counsel System continues its series of youth defense trainings with a presentation on disposition hearings in juvenile delinquencies with the Gault Center.

The disposition hearing is a critical phase of a delinquency proceeding that can have significant impact on the child and how well they progress through the case. Sarah Johnson and Alana Meyer of the Gault Center join us to discuss the importance of the disposition hearing and strategies to help your client receive the most beneficial and least punitive disposition.
