SADO - District-to-Circuit Court Appeals 101

Time: February 18, 2025 - 12-1:30pm
Location: Zoom

In this training, attendees will learn the basics about handling an appeal from the district to the circuit court. From filing requirements to necessary documents to deadlines, attendees will learn what they need to know to file (or defend) their first appeal. Attendees will also learn tips and tricks for arguing successfully on appeal, drawing from Jonathan’s practice experience and as a clerk for the Michigan Supreme Court.

Attorney-focused trainings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of the month, and investigator-focused trainings are scheduled for the first Thursday of the month. Of course, anyone who works on a defense team is welcome at any training. And if you miss a session, everything will be recorded and posted to our video archive.

Check out the flyer for additional information and registration. Flyers will also be posted on our various social media accounts.
