John A. Shea obtained a dismissal of an illegally transporting medical marijuana charge [M.C.L. §750.424] against his client in the 15th Judicial District Court (Ann Arbor). The judge agreed with the defense argument that the transporting statute was inconsistent with the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act [M.C.L. §333.26421, et seq.].
