You'd Like it at SADO!

We think you'd like it here. Why? We advocate for change

We actively advocate in the courtroom and in the Legislature to reform unjust laws and policies. We are committed to making the system more humane for the people we represent, one change at a time.

We value comfort

We dress casually and comfortably in our office, so keep your suits at home. Come as you are!

We rest and recover

We don't glorify long workdays, and we encourage unplugging from email after hours, on weekends, and on holidays. When you have a heavy lift, supervisors will work with you to ensure you get the break you need.

We celebrate together

We find reasons to celebrate with each other, from baby showers to holidays to victories, big or small.

We trust you

You have flexibility on when and how you work. You can work remotely 3 days a week, and you can choose in-office schedules that work best for you. We do not do timekeeping, and we trust everyone to manage caseloads in a way that works best for them, while providing support along the way.

We support you

We hold regular meetings for teams that allow for brainstorming, learning, venting, and more. Leadership has your back and supervisors offer hands on assistance with cases. We benefit from the assistance of other team members, such as paralegals, investigators, mitigation specialists, reentry specialists, interns, and other professionals.

We are improving

We recognize that things are good, but they can always be better. We consistently look for ways to improve your work experience--from engaging in caseload studies to improving case management systems and everything in between.
